This lesson plan focuses on celebrating the contributions of 10 inspiring female children’s book authors in honor of Read Across America Day. Students will have the opportunity to explore the works of these authors and their impact on literature and society through various engaging activities, including author studies and discussions.

Interactive Lesson:
Exploring Women's Suffrage
